For the recipie I made Almond Cookies, becasue I like cookies and seemed pretty easy to make. I felt pretty confindent in making cookies, since I make mostly cookies and pizza in the kitchen. First I had to get all my ingredents together. I then read the direction and started to mix the ingredents, which were all the dry ones. I then had to use a sifter, which was
new to me and easier to use then I thought. I had to mix some other miscellanious ingredents then with a mixer, which I do not like to use. After I mixed those ingredents I had to add the extract and the egg. After it was mixed together well I combined the bowls and mixed then again. With the mixture comeplety mixed and a little crumbly, which was the way it was spose to be, I rolled it into two different log rolls and put the
m in the fridge for four hours. I then cut the logs into pieces, and rolled those into a ball. I cut an almond in half and pushed them into the ball and brushed a beaten egg over it. And then I put them into the oven and waited...and waited...and took them out once they were golden brown.

My Dad then said the had a good almond taste and he couldn't stop eating them. While I thought they were nice and crumbly.
