When I was done reading the article, "China's Stolen Sons", I was shocked. I was amazed how the government and the police just looks the other way when children get stolen. But I think this is because I live in the United States and the government and police always try thier hardest to get children back to their familes. I also felt that some of these people have no conscience, they just take these kids from other parents and do not think twice about it. I think it is wrong and robot like, to these people it is all about having a boy. But then agian it is another country and a different way they live.

I learned that the governemtn is trying to help by setting up DNA centers. I also learned that many parents just leave their children on the streets, mostly girls, where people come and pick them up. So in away some the people stealing are just trying to help. Also again I feel that some of the people of China are somewhat heartless leaving newborns on the streets to defend for them selves, just to get a male baby.
